About Partial Dentures
A partial denture is a removable appliance that replaces some missing teeth when others remain in the mouth. It usually has replacement teeth attached to a gum-coloured base, and it is held in place by clasps around natural teeth or by precision attachments. The dentist takes impressions, checks the fit and adjusts the denture after it is made.
