About Panoramic X-Rays

A panoramic X-ray is a single image that shows the upper and lower jaws, all the teeth, the sinuses and the jaw joints. The machine rotates around your head while you stand or sit still. Dentists use panoramic X-rays to plan treatment such as wisdom tooth removal, implants and orthodontics, and to check for problems not visible in a routine exam.
