About Myofunctional Therapy
Myofunctional therapy is a program of exercises for the muscles of the tongue, lips, cheeks and face. It is used to address habits such as tongue thrust, mouth breathing and incorrect swallowing, and it is sometimes combined with orthodontic or sleep-related care. It is carried out by trained therapists, including some dentists and dental hygienists.
