If you've broken or chipped a tooth, rinse and save any pieces, control bleeding with gauze, and apply a cold compress. If a tooth is knocked out, keep the root clean and try to place it back, or carry it in milk. For a toothache, floss and rinse with warm water, and use a cold compress. If you've lost a filling or crown, cover the hole with sugarless gum and bring the crown to the office.
